Summary
As we approach our busiest season of giving, we are asking our UW-Madison partners to test the online giving links and buttons on their websites. We have seen a few cases of older online giving links with variables that are no longer supported being used – preventing the online giving form from pre-filling a fund designation.
To test your links, simply click the giving buttons/link(s) on your website and verify that the fund you expected to be pre-filled on the form is present. If the fund is pre-filled as it should be, and no errors occur, no further action is needed. If not, please email help@uwadvancement.org and include “Digital Giving” in the subject line. We will do our best to supply a functioning replacement link within 3 business days of receiving your message.
