Data & Information Systems
The UW Foundation and Wisconsin Alumni Association maintain the UW-Madison’s alumni, friends and donor data systems, which includes about 728,000 records with more than 623,500 active addresses. Daily updates provide the most current and accurate information needed to contact alumni and friends.
In late August of 2014, The UW Foundation’s “Strategy” database application, and the Wisconsin Alumni Association’s “4D” database applications, as well as their auxiliary systems (like Web Strategy and Campus Access), were replaced by the ABE CRM (constituent relationship management) system and the Funds & Constituents section of this site.
How do I access data?
Alumni, friend and donor information formerly available through Strategy and 4D is now accessible through the ABE CRM system. Campus colleagues whose role involves advancement work on behalf of the UW-Madison have access to this system. Security access is defined by role, and users can see either basic demographic data, prospect management information or more advanced gift and pledge information.
For more information about accessing ABE, please click Funds & Constituents above, then click “Request access for a new user” on the Advancement Resources log in page.
